Privacy Statement - Important Notes on Data Handling and Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a data analysis tool provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the data controller on this site resides in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the processing of Google Analytics data is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are saved on the device used to enable an analysis of the user's website usage. The information collected through cookies about the use of this website is normally transferred to a Google server and stored there.

This site employs Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This extension enables the anonymization of the IP address by truncation, preventing visitor identification. Normally, the anonymization of the IP address occurs within the member states of the European Union or in the states that have signed the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to Google's server in the United States and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data collected by Google.

On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the collected information to evaluate the use of the site by visitors, to report on activities conducted on the site, and to provide the site operator with services related to the use of the website or the Internet (Art.6, paragraph 1, letter f GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in optimizing the website, analyzing how visitors use the site, and adapting content. The privacy rights of the visitors are adequately ensured through pseudonymization.

Google LLC. ensures an adequate level of data protection according to standard European contractual clauses. Data sent and linked to Google Analytics cookies, e.g., user IDs or advertising IDs, are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data whose storage period has expired is automatically deleted once a month.

Data collection by Google Analytics may be limited if the site visitor modifies the cookie settings. The collection and storage of the IP address can be revoked at any time without retroactive effect. The browser plugin for disabling Google Analytics can be downloaded and installed by clicking on this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Il visitatore della pagina può impedire la raccolta di dati da parte di Google Analytics cliccando qui. Un cookie "opt-out" sarà applicato al tuo sito e preverrà la raccolta di dati sulle visite a questo site.

Further information on the processing of data by Google, the configuration options, and the deactivation of the service can be found in Google's Privacy Statement and in the Modalità di personalizzazione degli annunci pubblicitari su Google.

reCAPTCHA

In order to protect the data you enter via the forms on this site, we use the reCaptcha service provided by Google LLC (Google). This service verifies that you are a person to prevent certain features of the site from being (ab)used by spam robots (especially in the comments section). The use of this function means that your IP address and any other data required by Google are processed for the Google reCaptcha service. In any case, within the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area, the IP address is truncated and anonymised before being transmitted by Google. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to one of Google's servers in the United States and truncated upon receipt. Google then uses this information to verify on our behalf how you are using our site. The IP address provided by reCaptcha will not be aggregated with any other data held by Google.
The collection of this data is subject to Google's data protection rules (Google Inc.). For more information on Google's privacy policy, visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it
By using the reCaptcha service, you authorise Google to process your data for the purpose and in the manner described above.

Cookie policy - What are cookies and what are they used for?

A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to their device, where it is stored to be transmitted back to that website during a subsequent visit.

Cookies are categorized based on the entity that installs them on the user's device, whether it's the same operator of the website the user is visiting (so-called "first-party cookies") or a different website that installs cookies through the first website (so-called "third-party cookies"). They are also classified based on their purpose: some cookies allow the website that installed them to remember user preferences during browsing, make purchases, or authenticate (referred to as "technical cookies"), while others enable the website that installed them to monitor user navigation for the purpose of delivering advertisements or providing services in line with the user's preferences expressed during online browsing (referred to as "profiling cookies").

Only profiling cookies require the prior consent of the user for their use.
On the website, only first-party technical cookies are installed.
No personal data of users is acquired by the website in this regard.
No use of cookies is made for the transmission of personal information, nor are any persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users, used.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient navigation of the site.

The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other computer techniques that could potentially jeopardize the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personally identifiable user data.

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are used solely for "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service." Cookies of this type are necessary for the proper functioning of certain areas of the website. This category of cookies includes both persistent cookies and session cookies. In the absence of these cookies, the website or some parts of it may not function correctly. Therefore, they are always used, regardless of user preferences.
Cookies in this category are always sent from our domain. Technical cookies can be divided into:

• Navigation or session cookies, which ensure the normal navigation and use of the website (for example, allowing users to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas);

• Functionality cookies, which allow users to navigate based on a series of selected criteria (such as language or selected products for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to them.

For the use of technical cookies, the consent of the data subject is not required.

Third-Party Functionality Integration Cookies

Cookies of this type are used to integrate third-party functionality into the website (e.g., integration with social networks or advertising services). Cookies in this category may be sent from the domains of partner sites (or sites that provide the functionalities present on the website) and may use information about the user's visit to display advertisements that may be of interest to them. Browsers are automatically set to accept cookies. We assume that by browsing our site, the user consents to the placement of our cookies to enhance their online experience.

Information in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation 2016/679/EU

Regarding the information collected by cookies installed directly by the website, the data controller provides the following clarification:

• the data is collected only for the purposes and for the duration indicated in the table below and is processed using IT methods;

• Regarding "technical" cookies, it is reiterated that the use of such cookies does not require the prior consent of the user as they are necessary to enable navigation within the Site and the proper functioning of the same. Should technical cookies be removed through browser settings, navigation on the Site may not be fully or partially possible.

•The data collected by first-party cookies may be disclosed to parties acting on behalf of the Data Controller as processors, appointees, or authorized parties for purposes related to those described above. Regarding such data, the user may exercise the rights provided by Reg. 2016/679/EU, as indicated in the Privacy Policy accessible through the "Privacy Policy" link in the footer of the Site.
